Webroot wins 'Messaging Product of the Year' Award for its Email Security SaaS solution at Network Computing Awards 2009

Webroot, a leading provider of security solutions for the consumer, enterprise and SME markets, has been honored with the accolade of 'Messaging Product of the Year' for the Webroot® Email Security SaaS solution at the Network Computing Awards, held on March 19, 2009 in London.
Out of 24 categories overall, Webroot was nominated and short listed in six, including 'Security Product of the Year' and 'Environmental Product of the Year'. However, the 'Messaging Product of the Year' award is particularly noteworthy to Webroot as it demonstrates the IT industry's recognition of the company's position as a major contender within the security SaaS market. The Webroot Email Security SaaS service handles billions of messages for thousands of corporate, education, and government customers worldwide.
The award was nominated and voted on by the IT Buyers who read Britain's longest running networking publication, Network Computing. For this award, Webroot successfully competed against other major companies in the sector such as Symantec, Barracuda and F-Secure.
